Test for Vitamin C on local oranges

The task for today was to test for vitamin C in Local Oranges.

The same procedures as yesterday were employed.

(i) We peeled 4 oranges

(ii) We juiced them in an electronic juicer

(iii) We passed the juice through a cheese cloth

(iv) We then titrated 25mL of the juice against 0.005M iodine solution

We repeated the experiment until we obtained concordant results.

On Thursday we plan to Test for Vitamin c in foreign tomatoes
